Website photoAs a practitioner of both Classical Acupuncture and Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy I believe that everybody’s healthcare journey is unique.  My aim is to work alongside you, to help you achieve your personal health goals and attain optimum health naturally.

Both acupuncture and nutritional therapy can be beneficial for a variety of h
ealth conditions either on their own, combined or alongside conventional medicine.  To arrange an appointment or discuss your personal health concerns please call me on 07779010853.

Acupuncture

I am a fully licensed acupuncturist, with a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture graduating from the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) (University of Greenwich).   I am also a member of  the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) the UK’s main regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture .

As an ICOM trained practitioner I practise Classical Acupuncture incorporating the principles of Stems and Branches.  This system explores congenital factors along with the individual constitution of the patient, with the aim being to treat the root of the condition rather than just alleviate symptoms.  During the consultation I not only consider presenting symptoms but will take a detailed case history which includes general health, previous medical history, diet and lifestyle; this along with the application of body diagnosis enables me to establish the most appropriate treatment strategy.

I volunteer one day a week at St Christopher’s Hospice in Sydenham, where acupuncture treatment is offered to patients to assist with symptom management.  I am also committed to continual development of my skills through post-graduate study.

Nutritional Therapy

On completion of three years studying naturopathic nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), I qualified with a diploma in Nutritional Therapy. I am a member of, the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) the professional body for Registered Nutritional Therapists and Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) regulator for complementary health practitioners.

I regularly attend seminars and conferences to continue my professional development and have fully comprehensive professional liability insurance.

As a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist I apply nutrition science for the promotion of optimum health, peak performance, individual care and wellbeing.

I work with clients on a one-to-one basis creating tailor-made nutritional and lifestyle programmes to redress nutrient imbalances within the body.  I aim to get to the root of the problem rather than managing symptoms, taking a holistic approach treating the body as a whole.

My goal is to educate clients, to improve their knowledge of beneficial nutrition and lifestyle choices, enabling them to have a better understanding of their body and take control of their own health.
