Nutritional therapy
“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” ~ Hippocrates
Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy is the use of whole and organic foods as medicine – an integral concept of healing in many indigenous societies.
In order to function well our bodies need the right balance of nutrients. Numerous factors can lead to these requirements not being met and thereby contribute to an individual’s symptoms and health concerns. Nutritional therapy aims to identify potential nutrient imbalances and then helps to support recovery with personal nutritional and lifestyle management advice to optimise health and well-being.
Nutritional therapy is a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing.
Nutritional therapy is not recommended as a replacement for medical advice.
