Trained in India and the UK, I teach yoga and meditation on a one-to-one or group basis, and I run UK and international yoga retreats with a focus on relief from stress, anxiety, fatigue and back pain. My motivation to teach comes from personal experience having observed major improvements in my physical and mental health through a regular yoga practice.
Like many other people, yoga has changed my life and this has inspired me to share the practice with others.
I have completed specialised training in therapeutic techniques in Yoga for Anxiety, Meditation on the Natural Breath, and Children and Teen Yoga. My approach is gentle and compassionate and I believe that yoga can benefit anyone regardless of age, flexibility, shape or mobility.
During classes with me at Kika Clinic, we will focus on calming the mind and regulating the nervous system through breath work, stretches to release tension from the body, mindful yoga sequences aligned to the breath to build strength, flexibility, balance and endurance, deep guided relaxation, and meditation.
